The Parkinson Association of Northern California (PANC) is hosting its annual conference both in person and virtually this year. Featured speakers will be Sharon Krischer, founder of “Twitchy Woman”, and author Terri Pease, PhD. Several movement disorder specialists from Northern California will also be speaking and answering questions. Keep reading for all the details.

FEATURED SPEAKERS

Sharon Krischer will present the keynote talk. Sharon was diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease in 2009. She started Twitchy Woman as a way to exchange ideas and solutions with other women whose lives have been affected by Parkinson’s. Each month Sharon hosts a free webinar exclusively for other “Twitchy Women” with Parkinson’s Disease.

Terri Pease, PhD, was a highly experienced professional in the social services and healthcare industries when she married her husband, who was already diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease. Her professional experience informed her approach to caring for him and to helping other Parkinson’s caregivers today. Toward that end, Terri wrote “Love, Dignity, and Parkinson’s” and started Seabury House, with the mission of making life smoother and easing loneliness for caregivers.

REGISTRATION

Early bird registration $40 is per person until September 14. Registration includes lunch, snacks, prizes, an exhibit hall of resources, and the opportunity to connect with the Parkinson’s community.

Virtual registration is $20 per person.
