Local Lewy Body Dementia Support Group to Offer “Dementia and Alzheimer’s Caregiver Conference,” November 14, Santa Rosa

Brain Support Network (BSN) is hosting a “Dementia and Alzheimer’s Caregiver Conference” on November 14, 8:30am – noon, Sonoma Country Day School, Santa Rosa.  Keynote speaker is brain health scientist Alireza Atri, MD, PhD, California Pacific Medical Center who will review the spectrum of dementia diseases, including Lewy Body Dementia, Alzheimer’s, and Progressive Supranuclear Palsy.

Dollarphotoclub_70318620Other speakers include a Lewy Body Dementia caregiver, a dementia care consultant, and an eldercare advisor. Doors open at 8:30am; the first speaker begins at 9am.

This event is free and open to the public. No need to RSVP. Respite care is available through Redwood Caregivers; the deadline is November 6th.
