Neurology Now: Playing Against Type

Victoria Dillard was diagnosed with Parkinson’s at age 36. After her diagnosis, her challenge was to find a new community of people she could connect with as a young, black woman with young onset PD.

Playing Against Type: As a black woman with young-onset Parkinson’s disease, actress Victoria Dillard felt invisible. Thanks to her creative powers, she’s being seen and heard more often.
