The next webinar in the American Parkinson Disease Association’s “Dr. Gilbert Hosts” series is focused on urinary dysfunction and PD. The guest speaker is Victor Nitti, MD, Professor of Urology and Obstetrics and Gynecology at UCLA Health. Register now for this webinar, which will take place on Wednesday, August 23, 12pm PT.
Both men and women with Parkinson’s disease (PD) experience difficulties with urinary function. Urinary frequency, urgency, leakage, and incontinence are all common and challenging problems that can affect quality of life. Yet because these symptoms can seem embarrassing or private, many people don’t want to talk about them — even with their own doctors.
To help bring these issues into the open, Dr. Nitti will answer questions and offer tips to help improve your urologic issues and reduce the stress, worry, and discomfort these symptoms can bring.
Join the webinar to learn:
• how Parkinson’s disease can cause urinary dysfunction
• the urological symptoms that are common in PD
• potential treatments for the urological symptoms of PD
• and much more!
