In this episode of “Let’s Keep Moving with APDA” experts will delve into the complexities of freezing of gait and offer actionable tips, tricks, and technology to mitigate their impact on daily life. Register now for this free American Parkinson Disease Association (APDA) webinar, taking place on June 4, 10am PT.

If you’re unfamiliar with freezing of gait (FOG), it is a phenomenon associated with Parkinson’s disease (PD) where a person temporarily feels as if their feet are stuck, making it difficult or impossible to initiate or continue walking. FOG is common for people with PD and can significantly affect the quality of life, increasing the risk of falls and injuries, and leading to greater dependency on others for mobility and daily activities. It can also cause anxiety and reduced confidence in walking abilities.

On the next episode of APDA’s popular series, Let’s Keep Moving With APDA experts will provide guidance for navigating the complexities of gait freezing with confidence and resilience, teaching tailored exercises, environmental modifications, assistive devices, and effective strategies to regain mobility and independence.

Register on the APDA website.
