On Friday, October 25, at 1pm Stanford neurologist Mitchell Miglis, MD, will speak about “Sleep Issues in Parkinson’s Disease.” This presentation will be recorded and posted to the Palo Alto Parkinson’s support group webpage.
About the speaker:
Mitchell Migless, MD, treats a wide variety of neurological diseases and has a special interest in Autonomic Disorders, Sleep Disorders, and the interaction between these conditions. In addition to other research, Dr. Miglis has several ongoing studies evaluating skin biopsy and autonomic testing as markers of disease progression in isolated REM sleep behavior disorder, which is common in people with Parkinson’s Disease and other parkinsonian disorders.
