The speaker at the next virtual Stanford Young Onset Parkinson’s Disease (YOPD) support group meeting is Stanford movement disorders specialist Margaret Ferris, MD. On Tuesday, October 8 from 7-8:30pm PT Dr. Ferris will discuss cognitive changes and how to navigate the work/health balance.

The Stanford YOPD support group meets virtually on the second Tuesday of each month from 7-8:30pm PT. Those diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease by age 50 or younger, and their family members are welcome. About eight meetings during the year feature a guest speaker, and about four are open discussion.

If you have Young Onset PD and live in the San Francisco Bay Area, please contact the group leader, John Mamin, for meeting information and to be added to the meeting reminder email list.
