Young Onset Parkinson’s Disease (YOPD) – Webinar – June 10, 2025

June 9, 2025 By Denise Dagan

On Tuesday, June 10, from 7-8:30pm, Stanford movement disorders specialist Margaret Ferris, MD, will be speaking to the Stanford Young Onset Parkinson’s Disease (YOPD) Support Group. Topics will include traveling, children, genetics, work, PD mimics, and a bit about upcoming stem cell trials. People in Northern California with YOPD can get the login details by contacting Robin Riddle.

The Stanford YOPD Support group is open to those diagnosed with PD by age 50 or younger, and their family members. The group meets virtually on the 2nd Tuesday from 7-8:30pm. About half of the meetings feature a guest speaker, and half are open discussion. Group members gather in-person for a picnic in the summer and for a holiday party in December.

To be added to the meeting reminder email list, please contact John Mamin, phone 650-248-7363, or Robin Riddle, phone 650-724-6090.
