

In the spring of 2026, Stanford Neurology, in collaboration with SRI, are looking for people with Parkinson’s disease, between the ages of 50 and 80, to participate in a study of changes in cognition and motor function with sleep and aging.
Part of the study is conducted in-person at the SRI office in Menlo Park, CA, while part of the study involves wearing an Oura ring and wrist device while sleeping at home for a two-week period.
Study participation includes:
- Two days of testing at baseline, and again after two years. This involves an MRI brain scan as well as cognitive and motor exams
- Remote sleep assessment (via Oura ring)
Participants will be compensated for their time.
