Stanford movement disorder specialist neurologists, nurses, researchers, and staff participated in the first National Parkinson Foundation’s Moving Day in Silicon Valley on Saturday, June 4th, 2016.
Hundreds of people from the Parkinson’s community attended. Stanford had a booth to enroll participants in studies on Parkinson’s. Plus we handed out flyers on driving and PD, exercise classes, and caregiver-only support groups on the Peninsula. Lots of Stanford staff walked to raise funds. Our top-two fundraisers were Dr. Casey Halpern and Leanel Liwanag.
