Stanford Neurosurgeon to talk about Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) in Sunnyvale, July 20

text_image_0.img.full.highCasey Halpern, MD, a neurosurgeon at Stanford, will be talking about deep brain stimulation (DBS) at the Sunnyvale DBS Parkinson’s Support Group meeting on Wednesday, July 20, 1:30-3:30pm at The Parkinson’s Institute.  This event is free and open to the public.  No need to RSVP. 

In particular, Dr. Halpern will provide an overview of Stanford’s approach to DBS surgery for Parkinson’s Disease.  He will address the past, present, and future of DBS.
