This driving rehabilitation session will discuss the topics of the aging driver and requirements by the California DMV in a driver has had a change in medical status (such as being diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease). The session will be held at the Stanford Neuroscience Health Center. The program is free but advance registration is required.
Other topics include:
* Suspended license and how to resinstate
* Expired license and how to reinstate
Resources will be available including those for individuals who may be interested in modified hand controls and ideas about wheelchair vans.
Presenting the program will be Julie Muccini, MS, OTR/L, neuroclinical specialist working at Stanford’s Neurologic Outpatient Rehabilitation Program.
