Stanford Movement Disorder Specialist to discuss current/future surgical treatments for PD in Palo Alto, May 10

text_image_10.img.full.highMelanie Lising, MD, a movement disorder specialist at Stanford, will be talking about “Surgical Treatments for PD-What You Need to Know about Current and Upcoming Approaches” at the Palo Alto Parkinson’s Support Group meeting on Wednesday, May 10th, 2-3:30pm, at Avenidas.  This event is free and open to the public.  No need to RSVP.

Dr. Lising specializes in the treatment of movement disorders such as Parkinson’s disease, essential tremor and dystonia using deep brain stimulation.. While her talk will focus on current and future surgical treatment options for these disorders, she will answer audience questions on other PD-related topics.
