Many caregivers cannot leave home due to caregiving responsibilities. You can participate in a web-based seminar — or webinar — from the privacy of your home. Join either live or view the archived version within a few day of the live webinar (in most cases). All webinars listed are free. “Identifying and Supporting Dementia Caregivers in Healthcare Settings”

Program: Family caregivers are an essential part of the healthcare team for persons living with dementia. Yet, family caregivers often go unrecognized in the delivery of healthcare to persons living with dementia. This web seminar will define the challenges and benefits of including family caregivers as members of the healthcare team and describe practical approaches that are gaining support in two states (California and Texas).

Program: Most of us feel powerless and seem to be just surviving our caregiving experience. But no matter what our situation is, we can still find more happiness and strength. In this webinar, we’ll explore how to actually feel empowered, instead of deflated. We’ll look at the choices and control we still have. We’ll explore how to get the appreciation we need as well as how to boost our own spirits. Join us to receive the infusion of energy you deserve for this caregiver journey.
