Stanford-led Parkinson’s Support Group Moves to Little House in September – Second Wednesdays, 2-3:30pm

September 6, 2017 By Parkinson's Community Help

Stanford’s APDA Parkinson’s Information & Referral Center runs a local Parkinson’s  support group in the community. We are moving to Little House in Menlo Park in Sept. 2017. Our inaugural speaker on Sept. 13th will be…

Salima Brillman, MD, movement disorder specialist at The Parkinson’s Institute.  She will be offering an overview of hallucinations and delusions in PD, and will explain treatment options.  The meeting will be held on Wednesday, September 13th, from 2-3:30pm.  No RSVP is required.

For over a decade, we’ve been meeting at the Avenidas Senior Center in downtown Palo Alto.  Now that Avenidas has temporarily closed its downtown location for major remodeling, we are happy to be relocated to Little House in Menlo Park.

The meetings are always held on the second Wednesday of each month from 2 to 3:30pm.  Little House is a senior activity center at 800 Middle Avenue in Menlo Park.  The meeting is held in the Auditorium. Parking is plentiful.

The PD support group meetings are free and open to the public.  No RSVP is required.  We generally have guest speakers.  If you would like to be added to the list to receive a monthly email as to who the guest speaker is, please email Robin Riddle at Stanford.
