Register Now for “Advancing Science, Care, and Living with Parkinson’s” WPC Virtual Congress, May 17-21, 2021

May 3, 2021 By Parkinson's Community Help

The “World Parkinson Coalition (WPC) Virtual: Advancing Science, Care, & Living with Parkinson’s” online congress runs from May 17-21, 2021.  The program begins at 8am PT each day.  There are five simultaneous tracks — clinical science, basic science, comprehensive care, treatment options, and living with Parkinson’s.  Pre-registration ($25) is required.

This first ever virtual Congress from the WPC will rival the quality and content of the in-person congress. While in-person World Parkinson Congresses will continue to take place every three years (the next is scheduled for 2022 in Barcelona), these WPC Virtual Congresses will now take place annually in the years between the live WPCs.

Pre-registration ($25) is required and will give you access to all events, whether viewed live or via the archived presentations.

The agenda (which features five different tracks) can be found here. There are many superstar presenters, including Stanford’s Helen Bronte-Stewart and Kaiser’s Suketu Khandhar.  There are talks on clinical diagnosis tools and treatment, nutrition, care partner issues, the importance of exercise, and much more.
