Stanford Physician to Speak on PD and Nutrition, Friday, October 14, Lafayette

Register now for an in-person program on nutrition in Parkinson’s, on Friday, October 14, 12pm to 3pm, in Lafayette.  Presenters include Maya Katz, MD, Stanford movement disorder specialist.  A balanced diet is vital for good health.  For people with PD, a balanced diet is even more important.  Learn how some foods may help to ease symptoms or support brain health and discuss how meal timing and food interactions can affect the way medications work. 

This program, hosted by the Parkinson’s Foundation, is free and open to people with Parkinson’s, their family, friends, and the community.  A complimentary lunch is included at 12pm.  Speakers begin at 1pm.  Parking is free.

1:00pm-3:00pm Presentations, Q&A, Closing 

Location: Lafayette Veterans Memorial Center, 3780 Mt. Diablo Blvd., Lafayette, CA 94549
