The American Parkinson Disease Association (APDA) is hosting a two-day event October 14-15 at the Four Points by Sheraton Hotel, near Sea-Tac Airport. This conference is all about making connections, gaining practical skills, and learning how to live your best life with Young Onset Parkinson’s Disease.
On Saturday, October 14, check in and make social connections. Afternoon activity options include hiking, pickleball, art, dancing, boxing, and more. In the evening, join other attendees at a welcome happy hour reception, from 4:30-6pm.
Sunday, October 15, is a full day conference from 10am – 5pm. Featured speakers will host general and breakout sessions on topics from a broad agenda.
Each session is designed to promote positive health outcomes and improve quality of life for people with YOPD. The speakers, agenda design and subject matter presented were all chosen to reflect the unique needs of those living with YOPD including the need for social engagement.
