Plan to join us – either in-person on the Stanford campus or virtually – for a symposium for the multiple system atrophy community, on Saturday, May 4, 2024, 10am to 3pm PT. Co-hosted by Stanford and Brain Support Network. Everyone is welcome.
This symposium will feature a movement disorder specialist, autonomic disorder specialist, physical therapist, speech therapist, and neuro-palliative care physician from Stanford and other institutions in Northern California. A highlight in the afternoon will be a panel of people coping with MSA.
The registration fee will be small – whether attending in-person or virtually. Scholarships will be available. Registration will open by early April 2024.
If you join us in-person, plan to arrive by 9:30am to register, grab some coffee, and visit exhibitor and resource tables. A healthy lunch will be provided.
Help us spread the word by sharing this flyer.
To be sure you are notified when registration opens, you can join the Brain Support Network email list or email us.
If you are interested in exhibiting at the symposium, contact Robin Riddle.
This event is sponsored, in part, by CurePSP.
If you live in Northern or Central California, join the Brain Support Network MSA support groups! Brain Support Network offers monthly MSA caregiver-only support groups, alternating between in-person (San Mateo) and virtual gatherings. Brain Support Network also offers monthly virtual support group meetings for those with an MSA diagnosis. Contact Brain Support Network about these groups.
If you live on the San Francisco Peninsula, join Stanford’s Parkinson’s caregiver-only support group meetings (mostly in-person but one is virtual). We occasionally have MSA caregivers attending these meetings. See this webpage for details.
And join the Stanford/Palo Alto virtual Parkinson’s support group meeting as some of the guest speakers address topics of interest to the MSA communities. See this webpage for details.
