May 12, 2025 By Parkinson's Community Help

Just Diagnosed with Parkinsons?Start Here from American Parkinson Disease Association

A Parkinson’s disease (PD) diagnosis can feel overwhelming — but you’re not alone.  The American Parkinson Disease Association (APDA) has a new webpage designed specifically for those newly-diagnosed.  From expert guidance to supportive programs, the APDA gives you the basics you need now, with plenty more to explore when you’re ready.  The webpage includes top questions to ask your doctor, guidance on getting started with exercise (essential for everyone with PD!), and a curated video playlist.

See the new webpage at APDA.
