Stanford’s Connecting Through Art (CTA) program is back!

August 25, 2025 By Parkinson's Community Help

Connecting Through Art is a creative arts program that offers people with PD the space and ability to express feelings, emotions, and daily concerns through drawing and painting. This program provides a supportive and therapeutic environment that encourages participant reflection as they participate in art activities that help strengthen fine motor movements.

Saturday, September 13th – 10:30am to noon

Location: The Forum in Cupertino Arts & Crafts Room

This session: Painting watercolor mandalas

Coordinator: Noah Siddiqui, clinical research coordinator associate in the Poston Lab in the Department of Neurology & Neurological Sciences at Stanford.

Instructor: Meredith Snow, MS, ATR-BC, educator, artist, and art therapist

The Stanford CTA program is sponsored by the American Parkinson Disease Association (APDA).  Art supplies will be provided. Refreshments will be shared.  Feel free to bring your own lunch.
