The Parkinson Disease Association of Northern California (PANC) and Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research have arranged for Dr. Ray Dorsey to speak at the Corinthian Yacht Club in Tiburon, CA, on January 30th from 7-8:30pm. There is no fee to attend, but seating is limited. Reserve your seat now.
Leading up to the Sailing4Parkinson’s Charity Regatta in April, Dr. Ray Dorsey will be the first guest of the Corinthian Yacht Club 2026 speaker series. A leading neurologist, bestselling author, and Parkinson’s researcher, Dr. Dorsey is transforming how the world understands this condition.
Dr. Dorsey will share the perspective that as the fastest growing neurological disease in the world, Parkinson’s is largely “man-made,” driven by environmental factors we can change. His message is both urgent and hopeful, reminding us that with awareness and action, Parkinson’s is a disease we can prevent and do something about now.
Attendees who heard Dr. Dorsey speak at the October PANC conference described learning from him as eye-opening, emotional, and galvanizing. His talks often spark deep conversation, renewed purpose, and a shift from coping alone to collective action.
Also tentatively scheduled, are Dr. Carlie Tanner, a UCSF neurology instructor and leading investigator/researcher on environmental links to Parkinson’s speaking about local California issues AND Judy Dick, an attorney and Corinthian Yacht Club member who has the lived experience of caring for her late husband who had the disease.
