On Saturday, February 7, Stanford was pleased to host the Parkinson’s Foundation and Up ENDing Parkinson’s for a PD exercise sampler, community kick-off of Moving Days in Northern California, and a rock-climbing demo plus some rock-climbing experimentation.  Here are some resources shared that day about Stanford’s PD offerings, the May 2026 Moving Day schedule, Up ENDing Parkinson’s, and PD exercise options in the SF Bay Area.  And photos!

Stanford is one of the few centers in the US that is both a Parkinson’s Foundation Center of Excellence and an APDA Information & Referral Center.

Stanford has nearly 20 clinicians who specialize in movement disorders.  Our main clinical site is Palo Alto but Santa Clara and Pleasanton are just getting started.

We conduct clinical trials for all aspects of Parkinson’s disease, from newly diagnosed PD to advanced PD, from motor to non-motor symptoms such as cognition and GI symptoms, from observational trials to medication interventional and surgical interventional trials.
