Beyond Medication: Wellness Series

Register now for “PD Voice Lab: Building the Ultimate Voice & Speech Home Practice Program,” a four-week workshop hosted by APDA Northwest. This is a structured series, not a drop-in program; each session builds on the one before it. A speech-language pathologist will guide participants in building a personalized voice and speech home practice program, step by step, together as a group. Topics across the four weeks include breath as the engine for strong speech, core voice exercises for louder and steadier communication, strategies to be better understood in everyday conversations, and exercises to boost facial expression and connection.

Webinar: “PD Voice Lab: Building the Ultimate Voice & Speech Home Practice Program”

Speaker: Sarah Awde, M.Cl.Sc., speech-language pathologist and founder, Silver Speech Innovations, Vaughan, Ontario, Canada.

Dates: Thursdays, April 9, 16, 23, and 30, 2026, 10:30–11:30am PT

Host: APDA Northwest. Part of the “Beyond Medication: Wellness Series.”

About the speaker: Awde has 20 years of experience supporting adults with communication challenges related to neurological conditions.
