The speaker will cover why balance changes occur in PD, what contributes to feelings of unsteadiness, and what specific aspects of balance are affected.
Speaker: Timothy Nordahl, PT, DPT, clinical research physical therapist, Boston University Center for Neurorehabilitation. Nordahl provides patient care and participates in research and education with persons with PD and related movement disorders. He is a board-certified specialist in neurologic physical therapy and has completed the American Physical Therapy Association’s vestibular rehabilitation competency course.
