July 2018 – Parkinson’s Support Group Mtgs – Guest Speakers/Programs – Northern and Central California

Many Northern and Central California Parkinson’s Disease (PD) support groups are not meeting in July (summer vacation or social events).  For those that are meeting, here’s information about guest speakers or discussion programs at a support group near you in July…

Do you need to know the support group meeting location, day/time, contact info, and how to RSVP if required?  Please refer to the Stanford Parkinson’s website for all Northern and Central California support groups.

What does it mean if a support group you sometimes attend isn’t listed below?  As mentioned above, many support groups are not meeting in July (Placerville, Chico, San Leandro, San Jose/Willow Glen, Visalia, Half Moon Bay, Santa Rosa, Lakeport, Stockton, Modesto) or have social events (Brentwood, Palo Alto YOPD).

If a group isn’t listed below, it might also mean that the guest speaker info didn’t arrive from the group in time to be added here.  Or, it could mean that I messed up.  If you are not a regular attendee of a group, it’s always a good idea to call the group leader to confirm the meeting!  (See this list for the group leader’s contact info.)

Hope everyone has a cool July 4th celebration with good food, adult beverages, and spectacular fireworks (if you can stay up that late).

Take care,

Robin Riddle
