“Caring for the Whole Person” In-Person Palliative Care Workshop Wednesday, April 9, 4:30-6:30pm

On Wednesday, April 9, at 4:30pm the Avenidas Rose Kleiner Center in Mountain View will host a free, interactive, two-hour workshop about the potential benefits of palliative care for people and families coping with chronic neurological illness, like Parkinson’s Disease and dementia. The speaker will be Jocelyn Jiao, MD, head of the new neuropalliative clinic at Stanford

“Research Opportunities for those with Parkinson’s Disease” (virtual) Palo Alto PD Support Group, Wednesday, April 9, 2:30-4pm

On Wednesday, April 9, at 2:30pm three research coordinators from Stanford will talk about research opportunities for those with Parkinson’s Disease (and perhaps healthy controls). We will hopefully receive all speakers’ permission to record the talks and post them to the Palo Alto Parkinson’s support group webpage, but attend in person so you can ask questions via the chat or the Question box.
