“Driving Wellness” – APDA MA Webinar, July 13, 10am PT

The Massachusetts Chapter of the American Parkinson Disease Association (APDA MA) is hosting a webinar next week, July 13, at 10am PT, on driving wellness for Parkinson’s Disease (PD).  PD can lead to changes in vision, physical movement, and thinking skills which can impact driving safety over the course of the disease. NYT: What It Feels Like to Live With Parkinson’s

Steven Heller, 70, has lived with Parkinson’s for more than 10 years. Véronique Vienne, 79, only recently learned that she had the disease. Both have had long careers as art directors, and the two have been friends for more than three decades. Back in March, the pair exchanged a flurry of emails over a 10-day period, where they explored the “before” and “after” of a Parkinson’s diagnosis.
