“PEOPLE WITH PARKINSON’S disease, the incurable neurodegenerative disorder that affects movement, have few options for medical treatment. Prescription medications can help manage symptoms, and an implantable device (a deep brain stimulator) can help control tremors – the hallmark of the condition.
