“Women and PD: What’s New?” symposium scheduled for Saturday, October 29th 10:45am-3:00pm, Redwood City
This exciting educational symposium will include lectures and panels on the latest information and research important to women living with Parkinson’s. Presented by Parkinson’s Women Support, the program includes top-level researchers and clinicians. This symposium will be presented at the Redwood Shores Library in Redwood City. The program requires pre-registration and includes an option to purchase a boxed lunch. Tickets will not be available at the event.
Driving Rehabilitation session scheduled Thursday, October 6, 10:30-11:30am, Stanford
This driving rehabilitation session will discuss the topics of the aging driver and requirements by the California DMV in a driver has had a change in medical status (such as being diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease). The session will be held at the Stanford Neuroscience Health Center. The program is free but advance registration is required.
