KTVU News: New Technology Used to Treat Parkinson’s Disease
Helen Bronte-Stewart, MD, director of the Movement Disorders Center at Stanford, was featured on KTVU’s news coverage of deep brain stimulation (DBS). DBS has shown promise in treating Parkinson’s Disease and other conditions. This TV news story discusses how scientists are now using the technology to eavesdrop on problem neural circuits.

It has been awhile since the Stanford APDA Parkinson’s Information & Referral Center published a list of all of the PD, MSA, PSP, or CBD research studies currently recruiting at non-profit institutions in Northern California.
