This is an informative driving rehabilitation session that will discuss the topics of the aging driver and requirements by the California DMV if a driver has had a change in medical status (such as being diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease), suspended license, or let his or her license expire The session will be held at the Stanford Neuroscience Health Center. The program is free but advance registration is required.

The American Parkinson Disease Association (APDA) is piloting a new program for people with Parkinson’s, “Connecting Through Art,” on Friday, October 11. With instruction from the Art Cart, the session will be focused on providing those living with Parkinson’s the space and ability to express feelings, emotions, and daily concerns through the activities of drawing and painting. The session is free, but advance registration is required.
