In conjunction with Stanford Parkinson’s Community Outreach, Peninsula Volunteers Inc. (PVI) will host a free screening of the documentary, “Still: A Michael J. Fox Movie” on September 12 from 1-3pm at Little House (800 Middle Ave., Menlo Park, CA 94025), followed by a group discussion.

Stanford’s SPRING study of gait in PD seeking participants who already have Medtronic DBS device

The Human Motor Control and Neuromodulation Lab at Stanford University is seeking participants for the SPRING (Stanford Parkinson’s Research In Neuromodulation for Gait) Study.  The lab is looking for study participants who already have a Medtronic Percept PC model of deep brain stimulation (DBS) device.  Contact the lab today for details!

Robin Riddle with Stanford’s APDA Information & Referral Center and Meg Rao with Stanford Health Care’s Neuroscience Supportive Care Program are speaking at the Parkinson Network of Mount Diablo’s Lunch & Learn virtual meeting on Wednesday, August 16, starting at noon.  They will talk briefly about Parkinson’s-related resources available for free through Stanford.  Then, Yue Welchel will encourage audience participation in PD-specific exercise.
