More personalized, precise treatment for Parkinson’s patients on ’90 Seconds with Lisa Kim’

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has approved a new technology that could offer more effective treatment for millions of people suffering from Parkinson’s disease. Approval of the new device is the result of Stanford-led research into adaptive deep brain stimulation. Helen Bronte-Stewart, MD, who headed the international study, explains how it could provide longer-lasting benefits of any current treatment.
