Black PD Summit Begins Saturday, Feb 10, 9am to noon – First of 4-part virtual program (worldwide)

Throughout Black History Month (February), there will be a special Black PD Summit.  This four-part virtual program begins on Saturday, Feb 10, and runs from 9am to noon PT.  This first session is on “Building Community Networking – Come Leave a Legacy as We Create a Historic Black Faces of Parkinson’s Disease Quilt.”  (Including your own face on the quilt is optional.)  Registration is not required; just join at the start-time.

On February 29 at 1pm PT, the Lewy Body Dementia Association (LBDA) will host a webinar on “Introduction to Synuclein Biomarkers: How Researchers are ‘Seeing’ Lewy Bodies in the Living Brain.” Kathleen Poston, MD, will discuss recent advances in the development of biomarkers for alpha-synuclein, how they are changing research in Lewy body dementia (LBD), and how they may change clinical practice in the future.
