“PSP-MSA-CBD Caregiving Symposium” on June 14, 2025 – Register now

Register now for June 14, 2025 event, “PSP-MSA-CBD Caregiving Symposium.”

This event, co-hosted with Brain Support Network and Stanford’s Movement Disorders Center, is for caregivers, partners, and family members who care for those with progressive supranuclear palsy (PSP), multiple system atrophy (MSA), or corticobasal degeneration (CBD). (CBD is also referred to as corticobasal syndrome, or CBS.)

This hybrid symposium – virtual and in-person on Stanford campus – runs from 10am to 3pm PT on Saturday, June 14, 2025.

On Friday, June 27, the Rotary Club of Belmont & Redwood Shores is hosting a Health Education Conference at The Alexandria at San Carlos from 8:30am-4:30pm.

“Moving Forward: Innovation, Treatment, and Research in the 21st Century” will focus on movement disorders and highlight Parkinson’s Disease. Students, nurses, social workers, community leaders, and the general public are all welcome.

On Wednesday, April 9, at 4:30pm the Avenidas Rose Kleiner Center in Mountain View will host a free, interactive, two-hour workshop about the potential benefits of palliative care for people and families coping with chronic neurological illness, like Parkinson’s Disease and dementia. “Research Opportunities for those with Parkinson’s Disease” (virtual) Palo Alto PD Support Group, Wednesday, April 9, 2:30-4pm

On Wednesday, April 9, at 2:30pm three research coordinators from Stanford will talk about research opportunities for those with Parkinson’s Disease (and perhaps healthy controls). We will hopefully receive all speakers’ permission to record the talks and post them to the Palo Alto Parkinson’s support group webpage, but attend in person so you can ask questions via the chat or the Question box.
