On Wednesday, April 9, at 2:30pm three research coordinators from Stanford will talk about research opportunities for those with Parkinson’s Disease (and perhaps healthy controls). We will hopefully receive all speakers’ permission to record the talks and post them to the Palo Alto Parkinson’s support group webpage, but attend in person so you can ask questions via the chat or the Question box.

On Saturday, June 14, 2025, 10am to 3pm PT, Stanford’s Movement Disorders Center and Brain Support Network are co-hosting a PSP-MSA-CBD caregiving symposium. This upcoming event is for caregivers, partners, and family members who care for those with progressive supranuclear palsy (PSP), multiple system atrophy (MSA), or corticobasal degeneration (CBD). Plan to join us either virtually or in-person at Stanford. Registration will open by May 1.

Stanford Movement disorder specialist and palliative care physician Jocelyn Jiao, MD, will speak to the Willow Glen Parkinson’s Support Group on Friday, March 7, at 10am. Dr. Jiao will provide an overview of palliative care and how it can help with Parkinson’s symptom management.
